BYOS Style: Layering Your Necklaces

At BYOS, we’re a little obsessed with jewelry (obviously) and want to share our style with you. If you stroll into our office and take a look at our necks you’ll see at least two chains on every one of them. “Let’s write about it!” we thought. So, here we go!

Subtle Color

Neck4

Piece(s) featured: Silver Póg Necklace, Silver Long/Short Sparkle + Zing Necklace

Every kind of color can bring a different vibe. Moody purples add drama, corals and oranges add energy and navy and green shades are worldly and cool. Just add one of a subtle bit of fun or add more to get a playful look!

Short Stop and Long Run

Neck5

Piece(s) featured: Gold Little Bar of Strength Necklace, Gold Locket Full of Joy Necklace

Different lengths add visual interest. Layering multiple chains can make a simple outfit look dramatic and cool. Add in chokers, pendants, and everything in between to create a sophisticated and eclectic look.

Shape Shifter

Piece(s) featured: Silver Heart Necklace w/ Diamond

Adding in different shapes is also a really good way make each piece stand out. To highlight a certain piece, add simple shapes around it. For a bohemian flare add in organic shapes or keep it classic with easy lines and materials.

We hope you loved these tips! Don’t forget to share photos of you with your BYOS jewelry with us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook!
